Slip sts (24 sts) Round 3: chain2, * 2 dc, 2 dc into next sts*. Repeat * 8x. Slip sts (32 sts) Round 4: chain2, * 3 dc, 2 dc into next sts*. Repeat * 8x. Slip sts (40 sts) Round 5: chain2, * 4 dc, 2 dc into next sts*. Repeat * 8x. Slip sts (48 sts) Round 6: chain2, * 5 dc, 2 dc into next sts*. Repeat * 8x. Slip sts (56 sts) Round 7: chain2, * 6 dc, 2 dc into next sts*. Repeat * 8x. Slip sts (64 sts) Round 8: chain2, * 7 dc, 2 dc into next sts*. Repeat * 8x. Slip sts (72 sts) Round 9: chain2, * 8 dc, 2 dc into next sts*. Repeat * 8x. Slip sts (80 sts) Round 10: chain2, * 9 dc, 2 dc into next sts*. Repeat * 8x. Slip sts (88 sts) Round 11-15: chain 2, 88 dc. Slip sts Round 16: chain 1, skip 3 sts, shell sts, skip 3 sts, 1 sc repeat till end. You should have total of 11 shells and extra 3 sts. Slip sts into chain 1. Round 17: chain 4, 1 dc in same sts as chain 4, *chain 6, V sts in to sc from previous row*. Repeat till end. Once you make the last V sts, chain 6 and slip sts into 3rd chain from chain 4 in earlier round. Round 18: chain 1, shell sts into V sts, 1 sc into chain 1 from round 16 Repeat till end of the round. Slip sts over chain 1 from round 16 and into chain 1 from earlier round ( see video if not clear) Repeat round 17 & 18 until round 32. Round 33-48 : repeat round 17 & 18. Shell sts increase 2 sts. So shell sts for next few round is 5dc, chain 1, 5 dc. No changes on V sts, chain 6 round. SLIT BEHIND THE TAIL, REPEAT OF 4 ROWS (use crochet hook size 7.00) Row 49: chain 4, turn the work around. Every V sts row will start at wrong side of the tail. 1 dc into same sts as chain 4, chain 6, V sts into previous row sc. Repeat till end. Last V sts is at the same sts as the 1st V sts. Row 50: chain 1, turn the work (right side), 5 dc, 1 sc , *shell sts into V sts, 1 sc * Repeat till 2nd last V sts,. 5 dc into last V sts. Row 51: chain 3, turn work around (wrong side), V sts into sc, chain 6 repeat till end. Chain 3 after last V sts and 1 sc into last sts from previous row. Row 52: chain 1, turn work around (right side), shell sts, 1 sc till end. Repeat row 49 - 52 until your desire length.. end with shell row.
