my parents gave up EVERYTHING for me and my sister... and especially as a young boy seeing my mom come home with blisters and calluses all over her feet from moving heavy boxes at the bueaty supply shop to seeing my dad juggle working as a pastor with dishwashing and delivering donuts on the side.. ripped my heart into pieces.. and I swore even from a young age.. that I'd fight for the luxury that I saw the other kids have with their families.. And ofc I had a point where I resented me and my family for being so "less than" compared to all the kids... but l'm realizing it was through those hardships that built my drive, work ethic and resiliency to push my limits to make a life for myself..
