We did it. Over 107 days, we navigated through tea gardens, got lost in new cities, climbed the tops of mountains, walked through winding streets, tasted new flavors, held on during rocky seas, sat through difficult conversations, and came out with new memories. By leaning in and embracing the present, we’ve lived through a spectrum of emotions. Some days it didn’t feel like we even had the time to process the magic of it all. In these moments you were the silliest jellies that parted the seas. You bared it all while chanting Zulu and isiXhosa that rocked the ship and cracked it down; but most of all, you grew and you learned. The change may feel slight, it may feel big, or maybe you won’t feel anything at all until years down the line. Regardless of which feeling hits, or whenever it comes up, remember that you have an entire community to tap into… or at the very least, the SAS socials 😉.
