This recap of The Traitors Season 4 Episode 9 breaks down everything from Rob recruiting Eric to the most anticlimactic roundtable of the season. The episode titled Think Outside the Box had all the ingredients for chaos, but somehow the Faithfuls are still asleep while the Traitors continue to run the game. If you are searching for The Traitors Season 4 Episode 9 recap, who got murdered, and who was banished, here is the full breakdown. The episode opens with Rob giving Eric the ultimate Traitors ultimatum, join the Traitors or be murdered. Of course Eric accepts, because no one wants to go home and everyone wants to be part of the power circle. Rob clearly chose Eric because he knows he will fall in line, especially after Eric started getting more vocal at the roundtable. When it came time to murder, they debated between Stephen, Dorinda, and Natalie before ultimately choosing Dorinda, which was actually a smart move since she was not even on most players’ radar. At breakfast, the house spirals over Johnny and Stephen, proving once again that once your name is said at the roundtable, it is almost impossible to recover. The social experiment aspect of The Traitors is on full display this episode. Rob dominates challenges, and because he performs well, no one suspects him. It mirrors how people equate skill or likability with morality. Meanwhile, Kristen hyper focuses on Tara and openly calls her a Traitor, despite a clear pattern forming in the game. The bias in suspicion is becoming just as interesting as the strategy itself. With three Traitors already banished, Mark floats the idea that someone must have been recruited, but the group still cannot land on the right target. The mission challenge with the boxes had major potential. Alan asked four strategic questions about who the Traitors find most useful, manipulative, undeserving of the final, and best suited to be a Traitor. Each correct guess was worth 500 dollars with 18,000 dollars on the line. Rob and Eric answered Tara every single time, and it took the group far too long to even notice the pattern. The Faithfuls missed obvious clues, including physical positioning shifts that should have raised suspicion. The tension should have been high, but the execution fell flat. At the roundtable, Stephen, Johnny, and Tara were the main targets, and Natalie unraveled once her name came up. Rob revealed he had the dagger, and unlike past explosive moments this season, it barely caused a ripple. Stephen was ultimately banished with five votes, while Johnny and Tara received two each. Afterward, Kristen directly confronted Eric for being unusually quiet, putting him on notice. In the turret, the Traitors debate their next murder carefully, knowing Kristen has already planted seeds about Eric. Despite the slow pacing, Rob is quietly playing one of the strongest strategic games of the season. Whether you love him or not, he understands The Traitors strategy better than anyone left in that castle. ⚠️Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research.
