The summit brought together thought leaders from healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and policy to address key challenges and opportunities in European healthcare. While Greece continues to face ongoing challenges like an aging population, rising chronic diseases, and pressure on healthcare professionals, global crises such as the rising cost of living and climate change also impact the sector. Despite these difficulties, we are entering a period of scientific renaissance. Greece aims to be a leader in health innovation by strengthening national health and pharmaceutical policies to ensure equitable access and optimize healthcare delivery. The summit emphasized the importance of prioritizing healthcare for citizen well-being, economic growth, and Europe’s security.
