How to make this soft and fluffy Maple Glazed Donuts. Here's what you'll need: 1 cup milk (250ml) 2 large eggs 1/4 cup sugar (50g) 2 tsp instant yeast (6g) 4 cups all purpose flour (500g) 1 tsp salt (5g) 1/4 cup unsalted butter (55g) For the glaze: 2 cups icing sugar (240g) 2 tbsp milk (30ml) 1tbs melted butter (15ml) 3 tbsp maple syrup (45ml) 1 tsp vanilla (5ml) 1. In a bowl, mix together milk, eggs, sugar and yeast. Add flour and salt. Mix until in incorporated. 2. Add butter, mix until dough is smooth. Form into a ball. Place in a bowl and cover until doubles in size. 3. Punch air out. Transfer to a floured surface and roll out about 1/2 inch thick. Cut out using a 3 inch cookie cutter and 1 inch cutter for the middle hole. Let it rest for 30 minutes. 4. In a pan, heat oil about 1 liter over medium heat. 5. Fry each donut, 1 to 2 minutes each side or until nice golden brown. Let it cool down. 6. For the maple glaze: In a small bowl, mix together icing sugar, milk, melted butter, maple syrup and vanilla until smooth. 7. Dip each donut in the prepared glaze. 8. Let it rest to dry.
