In this video, I unbox my very first drone — and yes, I bought it on Takealot 🇿🇦 A lot of people in South Africa don’t live near big cities where there are drone stores, so Takealot is often the easiest option. But the big question is: can you trust Takealot when buying something like a drone? I’m interested in drones, but I didn’t want to jump straight into the most expensive option. I spent time comparing different drone bundles on Takealot and chose this one mainly because it includes FPV goggles. My thinking was that I could later buy a remote controller separately, or if I buy another drone in the future, I might already have a compatible controller to use.
