Debate: Macbook Air + Studio or Macbook Pro M4 Max For EVERYTHING (14 vs 16 Inch)

The ancient debate, get an M4 Max Studio for home studio use, video editing, music production etc. and get a Macbook Air M4 laptop for travel. Or just get a Macbook Pro for studio and the road? The Macbook Pro M5 doesn't come in Pro or Max chips yet, so it's basically useless with 10 GPU cores, same as Air. Since this video I've tried my fiance's Macbook Air M4 with 24GB ram upgrade and it couldn't even play my clips with a little film grain on them. If you like colour grading, Air is out. Said 1.5 hours to render a video my PC did in 6 minutes. So the real debate is 14 inch vs 16 inch Macbook pro. Macbook Air is out of the question after trying my fiance's taking 1.5 hours to render a short video. I'm leaning 14 inch Macbook Pro m4 Max 64GB 2TB with 2nd monitor for at home.
