READ DESCRIPTION Here we have one of Rainbow's recent projects. As I mentioned before, the residential fleet was being transitioned over to the Autocar ACX chassis, while the Crane Carriers from those trucks were being used for new front loaders. The truck in this video wasn't something that I was expecting to see, as most of the original Hardox fleet was already in the bone yard. This here, is a 1999 or 2000 Amrep Hardox Front Loader, mounted on a 2007 CCC LET2 chassis, powered by compressed natural gas (CNG). Rainbow has taken a handful of the old Hardox bodies, and placed them on the chassis of what used to be 203, 211, and a few others. Trucks 255 through 261 are all alike. You'll see this truck picking up commercial and multi-family mixed waste throughout Downtown Huntington Beach on a Tuesday morning. Thanks to the crew for the great video. On November 30, 2016, this truck was acquired by CR&R for the new MCSD commercial contract beginning December 1, 2016.
