When speaking with Hakeem about the significance of standing alongside his family in this film—something they had never done before—he expressed deep pride, believing this moment to be a direct result of the love shared within their family and the team, culminating in an authentic representation of multiple forms of family. For Mariam, family has been her foundation, shaping her into the person she is today—her rock, unwavering through every stage of her growth from childhood to young adulthood.
