1973 Ford Maverick With Cragar Lookalike Appliance Steel Spoke Mag Wheels Junkyard Find

Its been a while since ive ran into an old Ford Maverick so when i spotted this 1973 more door with some chrome Appliance Mag Wheels called Steel Spoke, I had couldn't walk up to it fast enough. I have a soft spot for these as I had a 73 2 door about 2 decades ago. ive often thought about getting another one. This one looked to be in good shape over all. The body was pretty straight and it was a V8 model. The interior was all there but worn as usual. Under the hood was what appeared to be someone's attempt fix up the old 302( im guessing as it could be a 289) I did end up scoring an old Edelbrock Performer 289 that was just sitting on top of the engine unbolted. Good thing because I had my tools in the truck. I liked the chrome deep dish mags but unfortunately they were 14 inch wheels and I don't do 14s. Still plenty of good usable parts on this one that hopefully will be saved before the old girl meets the crusher.
