Indiahikes treks are running on schedule in Himachal Pradesh despite scattered rains Our treks in Himachal Pradesh are not disrupted due to the rains. And as of now, they will continue to run on schedule for the coming week. “Intermittent rains is the reality of trekking in monsoon. We face this every year and we prepare accordingly for our monsoon treks,” says Ravi Ranjan, in-house weather expert and Operations Manager at Indiahikes. “But I understand trekkers are worried about the orange alert issued by the government. An orange alert indicates scattered rain in the region. It is not likely to disrupt any of our treks. In fact, today we received updates that the weather on Beas Kund, Bhrigu Lake, Hampta Pass, Chandrakhani Pass and even Buran Ghati has opened up,” says Ravi.
