Using credit cards for free travel is something anyone can do. I will explain how you as well can use credit card sign up bonuses to get points that you can redeem for money or free flights, hotels, and experiences. In this video I will show you how you can use credit cards to travel the world for free. I will go over the best cards to do this with and also how to get the most free travel out of each card. Without further adu lets get into this video. So linden, how does this work. When you sign up for a new credit card you usually recieve a sign up bonus. The size of this bonus depends on the card that you get but some of them can be fairly substantial for example for this card I recieved 80,000 points for opening it which comes out to around $1,000 of free travel. This means that just by opening this card I could fly to mexico around 8 times. I can also use these points to book hotels. There are tons of hotels that accept points and you can usually get them at a discounted rate when using points. So linden, how do I do this. First things first you will have to have some credit history. If that is not you do not worry I will explain how you can get there. In credit cards there are different tiers of cards. Tier 1 is for beginners, tier 2 is for people with some credit history, and tier 3 is for people with good credit. If you have no credit history you will have to start with a tier 1 card or a beginner card. I have made a video about my top 5 beginner credit cards so I will link that right here. If you already have a little credit built up then congratulations you can start getting free flights. I would reccomend that you start with a tier 2 card also known as an intermediate card. These cards usually offer the best sign up bonuses while the tier 3 cards offer better overall bonuses. The reason why I reccomend you start with tier 2 cards is because you can get the bigger sign up bonus and then upgrade to the tier 3 card for the better benefits if you want. Most tier 2 cards come with around a $100 annual fee but your sign up bonus will cover that many times over. My favorite tier 2 cards are the chase sapphire preffered which has a temporary offer of 80,000 points right now, Delta SkyMiles® Gold American Express Cardetc. all 3 of these cards offer great sign up bonuses that you can use to pay for many local flights or a few international flights. My favorite out of the 3 is the Chase Sapphire Preffered and yes, maybe im biased but I believe that the 80,000 point offer going on right now is a hard deal to pass up. All 3 of these cards are great but the Sapphire is my favorite. If you are worried about the annual fee then after you recieve the signup bonus you can swap your preffered card out for the no annual fee chase sapphire card. I wouldn't really recommend this because the preferred card is a good card to keep in your wallet but if you do not want to pay the annual fee that is an option that you have. - Thank you for watching 💚
