This desert pushes the human body to its limits, only those who have witnessed its sheer malice first hand know where the edge lies. Upon reaching the lake's shore, the team faced fierce conditions: the scorching Khamsin winds, laden with ancient sands from Arabia, made the island seem tantalizingly close yet out of reach. As nightfall approached, the Khamsin intensified, threatening to crush the team's hopes of landing on the island. Sleep was a luxury they could scarcely afford, as the harsh environment took its toll. Refusing to give up after coming so far, the team improvised to ensure their mission's success. The eastern shores offered a glimmer of hope, but it came with it's risks. Battling the relentless wind and choppy waves, the adventurers finally set foot on the dark, mystical shores of Franchetti Island. They were greeted by jagged rocks and uneven terrain, but their perseverance paid off. At the island's heart, they discovered a long-lost treasure, a relic from explorers of a bygone era. Reaching the island was just half the battle; the return journey promised its own set of dangers. If the winds shifted, they could be stranded on the inaccessible northern shores of the lake.
