Day#4 Tornado Warnings and Rain. In the storm shelter Saturday 4-5-25 It was looking so bad for us!

Today is Saturday, 4-5-25 and this is Day #4 of heavy rain, flooding and tornado warnings. I cked radar and listened to weatherman and they predicted around 2:30 or 3pm we would start getting warnings. I saw heavy rain was coming ahead of those storms so I went to shelter at about 1:15pm. I was going early so I could start organizing all my junk on the shelves and avoid going out in the pouring rain. It was light rain and I didn't even get down the steps to turn on the light before I shut the door that stupid siren came on. I was so scared. You would think I would get used to the storms but I think it just gets worse and worse for me. How can you not be scared when they see it coming straight toward your area? That storm fizzled out so I came back inside the house. Might be more later tonight. The flooding is horrendous tho. I have measured 7.5 inches since Wed. and it will rain all night. Some of the other counties have way more. So many roads and streets are flooded or washed out and closed.
