Hi there👋🏽 This production of Mary, A Holiday Dansical was written, directed, produced and choreographed by Founder and Executive Director - Erin D. Barnett. Black Girls Dance is a 501c3 non-profit organization based in Chicago, IL. Our mission is to showcase and highlight dancers of color all over the world. I wanted to tell the story of Black Nativity through the lens of a teenage girl while adding some contemporary elements so that young audiences can understand and relate to this story. We celebrate the real reason for the season, the birth of Jesus.
