You are a shrine-keeper for the shrine of the kitsune Haru. You maintain the shrine, but today it is dangerously cold out and there is a nasty blizzard. After completing your work outside of the shrine, you step inside the main building for some shelter and are surprised to see Haru for the first time, who is concerned about your health. I used "shrine-keeper" as a gender-neutral form of shrine-maiden. This was a real pain to edit, but I learned a lot. As always, I went through and removed any potentially jarring sounds. The last minute or so is just the fireplace, which gradually fades out. Of course, this was inspired by Salem’s kitsune video. I tried to make mine plenty distinct, but some elements are such no-brainers (shrine, listener sleeps in tails, and I like the pup name).
