What if Sergeant Cross was in NFS Unbound? This is full customization and gameplay of a fictional Chevrolet Corvette C7 Grand Sport that Cross would probably own if he were in the game. From the gritty streets of Rockport to the canyons of Palmont City, Sergeant Cross is no stranger to the Need for Speed Universe. Whether it was Most Wanted or Carbon, he was the bounty hunter who players became really familiar with. He was a headache, he was relentless but he was fearless. He went above and beyond in attempts to take down racers and stop illegal street racing, much to the discretion of the players. As much as he stood out as a character, his Corvette C6 stood out even more. He had several versions of his Vette that existed in previous games, all of which were amazing. Cross disappeared from the NFS universe after Carbon and players have requested for his character to return in modern titles. Obviously that will not happen, but what if it did. This video is an attempt to remake Sergeant Cross character and car with the idea of modernizing it to fit in the world of Unbound. Since the law enforcement of Lakeshore City (LSPD) use the C7 in this game and Cross was a Corvette guy, it was a perfect match. The police lights were added as a nice piece to make the build even more official. Of course, these lights are not in game for the players to use. They were added via the Cheat Engine, for PC only. Thank you to NFSLYY for the IDs. The instructions and IDs are listed below. CORVETTE C7 - POLICE LIGHTS Buy the Corvette C7 Grand Sport Enter body part customization Select "Edit Roof" option (DO NOT LEAVE THAT SECTION) Open and run Cheat Engine as administrator Select the laptop w/ magnifying glass icon (flashing red and green) Select your Need for Speed Unbound exe Change "value type" to 8 bytes Type the value (ID): 7092892 Click "First Scan" (Wait for all values to load) Select all values listed Once all values are selected, press the red arrow (new values will show below) Select all of the new values listed below the red arrow (you can use CTRL + A) Once all values are selected, press ENTER key Change value 7092892 to 60660922 ALT + TAB back to the game and purchase the Hardtop roof option If done correctly, you will see the police lights show If done wrong, your game will freeze and close on it's own Once you have successfully added the police lights, ALT + TAB back to Cheat Engine Click the red DO NOT ENTER icon to delete all addresses Click "new scan" to clear list Save your cheat table by clicking the blue floppy disc icon (or press CTRL + ALT + S) ENJOY! Before using the Cheat Engine, make a backup of your "SaveGame" folder, which can be found in your Documents / Need for Speed(TM) Unbound folder. That way if anything goes wrong with your save file, you can always use your original one. If you change IDs in cheat engine and your game freezes after, close down Cheat Engine and DO NOT save anything. If you changed IDs and want your original parts back, change the new ID value back to the old one. In this case, you originally have to change 7092892 to 60660922. Just switch IDs from 60660922 back to 7092892 using the same method process as listed above. Please understand once you do this, the parts you change will no longer be selectable in game as they will disappear. So please make sure you are absolutely certain about keeping your car this way permanently, assuming you do not plan to change the IDs back to the original.
