Dontae Spivey speaks from Jessup Correctional Institution on his case. (Please excuse some of the difficult audio because of background noise which could not be controlled) This video is about the wrongful conviction of Dontae Spivey who has remained in jail for 22 years. The Justice4Spivey committee wants to publicize the corruption within the Judicial System and the Baltimore City Police Department in incarcerating an innocent young Black man. Mr. Spivey was charged with 1st Degree Murder, felony murder, use of a handgun in commission of a felony, robbery with a deadly weapon and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. Spivey received life plus 40 years on circumstantial evidence. Independent DNA testing now collaborates his claims of innocence. Spivey is fighting for his release and a new trial.
