The game involves building a new human city on an alien planet called Aven Prime. The player will oversee the development of the city by constructing buildings, gathering resources, enacting social policies, and maintaining the people's happiness and morale. Aven Colony is similar to the Tropico games from Haemimont Games, but with a few minor differences. The game has a campaign with a nice well-written story. It also has a sandbox, if you prefer to play right away or practice all you want without limits. You can even set settings to your heart content in the sandbox. It, also, includes challenges if you up for that.
