You’ll see the painting develop from the very first burnt sienna wash to the final highlights, all in real time. I’ll show you how to: Set up your composition and drawing for balance and depth. Build form using a limited palette (Titanium White, Cadmium Yellow Pale Hue, Permanent Rose, Ultramarine Blue, and Burnt Sienna). Mix chromatic darks instead of using black. Handle light and shadow to achieve that old master glow.
