The Words We’ve Been Praying For 🙏 | Cancer Successfully Removed | Recovery Update

Yesterday we received the news we’ve been hoping and praying for… This morning we met with the liver surgeon and he confirmed that all of the cancer has been successfully removed. Tests on the surrounding cells have shown no further cancer present — such an incredible relief for us both. During surgery, the surgeon also had to remove Neil’s gallbladder to access the liver properly, as well as a small part of the liver and a section of the stomach wall. It’s been a major operation, but he continues to recover so well. The drain has now been removed too, and already he feels much more comfortable and able to move freely. Tonight he’s even looking forward to going upstairs to bed for a proper night’s sleep — something we definitely won’t take for granted. Next step is Monday’s hospital appointment to see what the bowel surgeon has to say as we continue this journey.
