My most melodic piece in a long time, and I don’t even think it’s that melodic. I believe in go with the flow, every track starts with me just trying stuff out. Sometimes I copy a previous pattern as a base, and others times I just goofing around with sounds to se what I can get out from it, randomly trying steps and parameters. After a while something just sits there and it starts to evolve. Then I slowly add stuff to fill in the blanks, sometimes the later add ons is what sets the tone and the first stuff gets trashed. I always duplicate a patterns and save them in the bottom row of the bank, so as they evolve I can go back and check what I’ve changed. In the end only one pattern gets saved and finished, all the old versions get trashed. Today’s dub techno track only includes the marvelous Digitone and its 8 voices. 1 trk for percussion and the other 3 for chords.
