In this video, I will make a handkerchief (wash cloth) using soft double-gauze fabric and show how to start and finish Sashiko stitches without making knots on double-layered fabrics. The size of the fabrics I'm using in this video is 24cmx24cm but the size can be larger or smaller depending on your purpose such as a handkerchief, a wash cloth or a tea towel. There are multiple ways to start and finish without making knots and this is just one of them. I have another video which shows some other ways for it. The stitches will help hold the shape of handkerchief.
