In honour of International Allyship Day, I joined the amazing Rick Zamperin on @chch_morninglive to talk about Allyship and how we can raise our children to be Allies.We talked about: 🌺 What Allyship means in the context of parenting, 🌺 My signature ACT framework, 🌺 What scripting is and why it matters, 🌺 Simple ways parents can build diversity, inclusion and allyship skills at home. Whenever I talk about Allyship with my corporate, education and community clients, I remind them of this: Allyship is not just one day event. It is a way of life. It is who we choose to be and how we choose to show up in our every day interactions at work, at home, in our community etc. Teaching our kids (and adults!) about Allyship helps them navigate the world with more kindness, compassion and courage.
