Black History Month 2020 at East Bergholt High School

A celebration of heritage and culture and honest reflections from our students of colour on what Black History Month means to them. A thought-provoking and raw conversation instigated by one of our Year 10 students on what it is like to be a black teenager. Demonstrating why it is so important that we are ALL involved in the discussions on eliminating racism and creating a fair and equal society for everyone. We have pride in the fact that our students are highlighting issues that exist within society, and that we strive to create an environment where diversity is recognised and celebrated. We continue to work with members of our community to promote kindness and positivity so that we can all be the best we can be.
