1995 Ford Crown Victoria LX Tour and Drive (Surprise At The End)

Having spent considerable time and effort catching up on 18 years of neglected maintenance on this 1995 Ford Crown Victoria LX it is, in a manner of speaking, ready for its maiden voyage, of sorts, in the form of an introductory tour and drive. This vehicle was purchased new by my grandfather back in December 1994. It has always been garaged and seldom driven. It had less that 12,000 miles on the odometer when I purchased it which, to say the least, is incredibly low mileage for an 18 year old vehicle. However, that being said, the car is not without its faults; some of which were addressed by fluid and filter changes. Others should be fairly to address over time. This vehicle represents the proverbial "cream puff" or "barn find" that alludes most people. It is truly a time capsule with the original tires, brake pads, hoses, alternator, water pump, serpentine belt, radiator, heater core, etc. No parts have been replaced on this car thus far except for consumable items, such as filters, wiper blades, and batteries. The vehicle looks exactly like the one pointed out in the brochure in the video, right down to the tires. Truly incredible. (2/3/2013)
