This is a tour down Merrick Road in Massapequa Long Island, NY. Merrick Road is one of the oldest roads on Long Island. It is a road that George Washington traveled upon, that Thomas Jones and his family built some of the first homes on Long Island, and one that even today still is rich in history and great places to visit and stop in to eat. On this trip we'll be visiting The Tackapausha Museum & Preserve, All American Drive-In, the Jones Family Cemetery, the Massapequa Preserve, the Old Grace Church, view a few historical markers located along the street.
