SPOILERS: For 5x13 especially and series 5 in general. Please watch in HD! I don't really know what this video actually is. I started making it in the middle of a project file for a completely different video and it just sort of took over. The finale was so brilliant but so sad. Something I loved about the finale was the delicate way the post-reveal was handled. Merlin and Arthur's gradual reconciliation was beautiful but heartbreaking and I tried to capture that in this video. It was so hard to make because it made me really sad. Colin and Bradley were fantastic in all of these scenes. Even after listening and seeing them dozens of times while making this video the impact of the scenes was never diminished. I'll forgive you if you find this depressing (it is depressing!) but I do hope that I've managed to include a little bit of light and happiness into a video that could only ever be, ultimately, a desperately sad one.
