By the time Yung Blu entered middle school he had started his own music group Named after the street he grew up on called Fremont Entertainment. (now called Money Game Music Group) During this time Yung Blu used his talent as a way to put money in his pocket, At the age of ten he began to rap for money on the corners & at convenience stores in his neighborhood. Sometimes coming home with close to $100 a day this allowed the young artist to go half with his mom on a computer & studio equipment . The confident young artist even convinced his family to take him to Chicago to audition for BET freestyle Friday when he we 12 years old but was disqualified for lying about his age & saying the N word during auditions. He was also blessed with the opportunity to work with members of hip hop pioneer group Public Enemy, And even worked with the Atlanta producer and rapper TJ Gamble of D4L & Shawty Lo leader of D4L . During this time it was rumored that Yung Blu was offered a deal from Atlantic Records but the deal was cancelled due to Yung Blu not having a huge internet buzz. This forced Yung Blu to move back to his hometown & focus back on his education, but thanks to the all the hype from social network sites like Facebook & Soundcloud Yung Blu misfortune & experience in Atlanta turned him into an local celebrity back home.
