Cartagena - Pendulum - Live Starr Labs ZTAR Z6 Demo Cover

Here's a little demo of my Starr Labs Star Z6 where I perform Cartagena by Pendulum using samples from my studio cover and from stems of the original track. For the lead synth I'm playing all the notes individually, but for the other parts I'm using samples on the fingerboard and on the trigger pads. in this video Think of this instrument as a guitar shaped launchpad. I use this technique when performing live with this instrument, utilising samples in this manner allows me to focus more on my vocals while still playing and triggering synths for a live performance. For my live shows I recreate the sounds as opposed to stem splitting unless absolutely necessary (tarantula vicals and such). This track will most likely never be played live as the vocals are just too high for me to sing live, but if I were to ever manage to I would make sure to use recreated sounds and not stems.
