(switch to HQ) My dad and I did this video back in 2002, when the Acela trains were new, and when regionals had different paint schemes. It features an NJT locomotive going in reverse through Hoboken terminal, and many other interesting things. If anyone's not familiar with the long electric locomotive, its called an E60. E60s were used on the NEC for heavier Amtrak trains, rather than high speed service, that they were supposed to be designed for. Sadly, they scraped all the E60s except for one. I've got vivid memories of E60s running down the Northeast Corridor during their last years of service. This video shows E60 #600 in action at Newark Penn Station. The only piece of E60 action I've got. Taken in April,2002.
