The RF Sedgley Company of Philadelphia made a small number of very high quality pen guns between 1928-1932. All were chambered for the .22 short cartridge and had a rifled barrel. They were single shot, reloadable, and fitted with a clip marked ‘Faultless.’ After all, who wouldn’t want a reliable pen….pen gun! Many years later, a non-reloadable throwaway version, known as the Stinger, was issued as to the U.S. Overseas Secret Service in WW2. It was during the war years that Sedgley later went on to make the even more limited, but better known, glove gun as popularized in Inglorious Bastards. Produced by the Historic Investments, LLC team.
