This mission gives you access to Puma IFVs, which are surprisingly fragile, but they get the job done regardless. You'll also get a Ninja recon helicopter which has both stealth and stealth detection and is very important to keep alive. Other than that, you'll be introduced to basic base building and resource gathering as well as defensive structures. The outpost is Chimera's only cheap power generating building and the sentinel turret are their only defensive building, so get used to them because you'll be forced to use them extensively. They are very costly in terms of aluminum which will become a concern in later missions, but are very versatile and important buildings nonetheless. For the defense part, you just have to get a big stack of Pumas, garrison the buildings with FELINs and SAS, and build maxed out sentinel turrets to support them. Massive waves of infantry will come from both sides, with helicopter support only coming from the left, and mechanized support from the right. Use the Pumas to help your defenses accordingly.
