How to Build Strength Using Four Mallets with Bella Scotti from the PAS Classroom

When learning to play with four mallets in keyboard percussion, it’s important to be aware of how you balance the strokes. Use this practice technique from the PAS Classroom with Bella Scotti to build strength for a four-mallet performance. PAS Classroom is a video series focused on quick and valuable tips and tricks for percussionists, drummers, music students, and (in particular) music educators. Bella Scotti is a member of the PAS Education Committee as well as a percussion performer and educator, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts in Percussion Performance at University of Texas at Austin. She has performed at PASIC and with the State College Municipal Band, the Williamsport Symphony Orchestra, and the New Orchestra of Washington, among others. They are an active private instructor and serve as a percussion teaching assistant at Interlochen Arts Camp.
