We have some exciting new news to share with you regarding mixing in tanks ranging from 500 to 5,000 gallons. Even Mix™ has expanded our mixers into tanks up to 5,000 gallons. We have successfully used our electric and air drives to mix containers this size with 7 foot shafts and 3 pairs of mixing blades attached. In this video we mixed 1300 gallons of water with 800 pounds of powder in about 15 minutes. Here are the before and after pictures of a sample from the bottom of the container. The Even Mix blades circulated material throughout the container and evenly mixed the water and powder to create a light slurry. The big difference between Even Mix™ and our competitors is that our air drive weighs 7 pounds and our electric drive weighs 10 pounds. Either can easily be mounted on top of a poly tank - they won’t dent it in. Larger and heavier AC motors need a large mounting bracket while we can mount directly on top of the poly tank. It’s easy for us. Due to our exclusive patented variable mixing blade design we are able to generate circulation that creates an even mix through all areas of the tanks. We have been very successful mixing IBC’s and have now leveraged our experience and technology to mix larger containers. Our mixers are well suited for mixing large containers of low viscosity liquids (typically 1,000 cps or the consistency of paint and less).
