Para el correcto implante hay que girar inicialmente el inyector en sentido horario hasta que entre completamente el primer háptico, a continuación se gira el inyector en sentido anti-horario hasta que entre la óptica completa. La colocación del segundo háptico se realiza girando la lente en el sulcus. Finalmente se procede a luxar la óptica y capturarla por la cápsula anterior. Este procedimiento sólo es válido en caso de integridad de la capsulorrexis anterior, en caso de rotura de la misma el procedimiento difiere ya que no se debe girar la lente en el sulcus.
