SWFL Eagles_ Post Hurricane Milton Visit ~ M15/F23 & The Nest Look Great & Strong 10.11.24

M15 & F23 were perched in the church tree when I arrived. F23 dropped the pine bough she had there and flew on to the nest with M15 following her carrying a small stick. It was a breezy & cooler day since Hurricane Milton's landfall on Wednesday. Both adults look good and strong as does the nest. They both continued to add sticks and work in the nest, taking a short break to fly across the road by one of the "neighbor" eagles perched on the cell tower. There was mating, discussions and perching together. I am very thankful our eagles are okay & the nest and area were spared heavy damage.
