After spending the last 5 days on the beautiful San Juan Islands, enjoying the local wildlife, the scenic views and kayaking adventures it was time to pack it and come to the realization that our time in Washington State was coming to an end. But before our flight back to North Carolina, we had time for a more short adventures. Join us as spend our last few hours on the island, take the ferry back to the mainland, then check out the aquatic sea life at the Seattle Aquarium . The Seattle Aquarium is located at Pier 59 on the Elliott Bay waterfront. It opened in 1977 and has been accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. Parking was a challenge particularly since there was some construction going on nearby. On the day of our visit tickets were $37.95 each for non-Washinton residence.
