Jorge Luiz Frello Filho, better known as Jorginho (Imbituba, 20 December 1991), is a Brazilian naturalized Italian footballer, midfielder of Chelsea and the Italian national team, with whom he became European champion in 2021. Considered one of the best active midfielders, [3] [4] grew up in the Verona youth team, in whose first team he made his debut in 2009. After a year on loan at the Sambonifacese, he returned to the ranks of the Gialloblù, of which he became one key player and in which he played until January 2014. Taken from Naples, he played four and a half seasons with the Campania region, winning an Italian Cup (2013-14) and an Italian Super Cup (2014). From 2018 he plays in Chelsea, where he immediately wins the Europa League (2018-19). In 2021 he reached the highest point of his career: he was crowned European champion twice as a protagonist, first with the Blues and later with the Italian national team, winning the Champions League and the European championship respectively.
