The world’s largest automotive market and production centre will see further recovery in the wake of the coronavirus crisis, but impacts from the global recession and a reduction in government incentives will hit parts of the market, according to a forecast from Lin Huaibin at IHS Markit Automotive shared during the Automotive Logistics and Supply Chain Live virtual conference. China will see further rises in electric vehicle sales and production as well, however reduced subsidies from the government will play a key role.
