On Sunday the 8th of July 2018, 071 class locomotive number 072 which was just freshly painted makes a run down the beautiful Dublin - Rosslare line. Although this tour was supposed to be steam hauled, it was decided that due to the risk of the steam loco causing a lineside fire, it was decided to have the traction for the tour diesel hauled. The tour was split into two separate tours, the first one being the ''Sea Breeze'' which was from Dublin - Wexford & return & the other tour being ''The Strand'' which ran from Wexford - Rosslare Strand & return.
