Victor Mavedzenge Creativity workshop. The artist explains part of his creative approach. Victor Mavedzenge- " I approach creativity with an open mind. The most important thing I have realized is that I have to be very conscious of what is going on in my mind and in the artwork I am creating. By this I mean, it is a fluid and ever-evolving process, each line or color addition alters the composition. I have successfully taught students to tap into their creativity with great results. As a teacher, it is a demanding process with large classes as I have to cater to each student as an individual and prescribe methods that would best work for them. Once a student has garnered the confidence to sketch and lay down paint, then I introduce the building blocks of art which are the line, color, perspective and so on. The progress bar moves differently for each student. SOme progress faster than others." Victor Mavedzenge is a mixed media/multimedia artist who has taught art for over 15 years. His students have been able to identify and develop their own creative ability.
