［FRSTT Gallery] Ep.19 Runaway - Bon Jovi Chiu Yin Hsuan x Chiu Yu Ting 2025 Music editing: Chiu Yu Ting Combo designing: Chiu Yu Ting, Chiu Yin Hsuan Performance director: Chiu Yin Hsuan, Chiu Yu Ting Video director: Chang Wei Jen 選用小時候常聽的搖滾樂團BonJovi的出道曲Runaway，是我們一直以來的待辦事項（？想用這首歌已經想了很多年。 我們一直在思考區別於單人花樁，雙人有什麼獨有的音樂體現方式。在本作中嘗試使用部分異步動作（兩人的動作、方向等不同但有一定關聯），將兩人作為一個視覺整體，來凸顯雙人才能產生的變化性，另外也使用我們比較少選擇的隔排同步呼應歌曲的二部合聲。 這套雙人最大程度的在音樂表現上展現力量及速度感，對控制力與滑行能力有相當高的要求。 吉他solo的段落是最大的亮點，展現充滿爆發力的滑行，組合跳躍、拖煞、快速旋轉等元素對應吉他複雜的演奏技巧。 Choosing Runaway, the debut song of the rock band Bon Jovi that we grew up listening to, has long been on our to-do list for long—we’ve wanted to use this song for many years. We have always been thinking about how a pair can express music in ways that are fundamentally different from a solo performance. In this piece, we experiment with partially asynchronous movements—where the two skaters’ actions and directions differ yet remain interconnected—treating the pair as a single visual whole to highlight the variations that can only be created by skating as a duo. We also incorporate off-line synchronized call-and-response elements to echo the song’s two-part harmonies, a musical approach we don’t often choose. This program showcases power and speed to the greatest extent through musical expression, placing very high demands on control and skating skills.
