Welcome to my new vlog on One Bite With Swapnil ❤️ In this video, I visited the famous Dakshineswar Kali Temple, one of the most spiritual and iconic temples in Kolkata 🙏 This temple is dedicated to Maa Kali (Bhavatarini), who is believed to remove all pain and negativity from devotees’ lives. The temple is located on the banks of the holy Hooghly River, giving it a very peaceful and divine atmosphere. As soon as I reached the temple, I experienced a different kind of positive energy. The crowd, the chants, and the spiritual vibes make this place truly special. I went inside the temple and took darshan of Maa Kali, which was a very calming and powerful experience for me. The temple is also very famous because of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, who served here as a priest and attained spiritual enlightenment. His presence and history make this temple even more important for devotees from all over India. After completing darshan, I explored the area around the temple. The view of the Hooghly River is beautiful and peaceful, and many devotees sit there to relax and pray. The entire environment gives a perfect mix of spirituality and calmness. Now comes the best part 😍 — FOOD! Outside the temple, I tried some famous Kolkata street food items: 🍽️ DAL KACHORI – Crispy, tasty, and full of flavor. It had a perfect combination of spices and was served hot. 🥤 KOLKATA LASSI – Thick, creamy, and refreshing. Perfect after a long darshan experience.
