In today’s adventure we wrap up our stay at the beautiful Menindee Lakes Caravan Park – it’s our final morning, so it’s time to pack up and hit the road. From there we travel through Wilcannia, NSW, taking some time to explore the town’s historic buildings, the old bridge, and its rich outback character. After sightseeing, we continue our journey toward Cobar – but as every good road trip goes, plans change! We decide to pull in for the night at Bulla Park Rest Area, a free roadside stop between Wilcannia and Cobar. It’s spacious, peaceful and offers bins and a picnic table, but no toilets or showers – perfect for travellers chasing a quiet, simple camp. Well… quiet until a cheeky black goat decides to make himself at home! 🐐 After a bit of harassing the dogs and trying to claim the campsite, we shift to another spot and it turns out great.
