When did Saint Peter know God’s plan for his life? It wasn’t when Jesus invited Peter to follow him on the shore of the sea of Galilee. We’re all called to follow Jesus and be his disciples; that’s called the 'universal call to holiness.' But only after Saint Peter got to know Jesus better and finally recognized him as the Christ, did he learn God's will for his life. God revealed that Saint Peter's calling, his vocation, was to be the rock and foundation of the Church, the keeper of the keys, and the first Pope and predecessor to Pope Francis. “Scivias: Know the Ways of the Lord,” is a vocational discernment series produced by the Archdiocese of Boston Vocations Office. Over the course of 27 short episodes, Fr. Michael Zimmerman invites you to explore the depths of your soul, cultivate a deeper prayer life, and take practical actions to discern your vocation. Be inspired and receive the practical tips you need to discover who God has made you to be!
