I have created a robot rover controlled via Bluetooth using a mobile app. The rover comprises a 6-degree-of-freedom (6DOF) robot arm with six MG996R servo motors and a YP100 tank chassis kit. For the robot rover setup, I utilized the YP100 Metal tracked chassis kit, a 6DOF robot arm, an Arduino Nano board, Nano IO expansion board, CNC Shield V3, two A4988 stepper drivers, two NEMA17 stepper motors, four 2.54mm 2P micro jumpers, an XL4015 5A step-down buck converter, an HC-05 Bluetooth module, a 3S LiPo battery (12V), XT60 connector, a 12V DC jack, and jumper wires. The 6DOF robot arm, constructed with six MG996R servos, is attached to the YP100 Robot tank chassis kit. Instead of the two motors originally provided with the YP100 robot tank chassis, two NEMA17 stepper motors are employed. The CNC Shield V3, with two A4988 stepper drivers, is used to drive the NEMA17 stepper motors. The 12V supply directly from the XT60 connector is linked to the CNC shield. This same connection is also attached to the input of the XL4015 step-down buck converter. The XL4015 converter steps down the voltage from 12V to 6V, providing power to the six servo motors and the Arduino Nano board. The Arduino Nano board is powered by the 12V DC jack, which is connected to the output of the XL4015.
