Welcome to Algeria, a country in the north of Africa whose rich and diverse history, culture and beauty make it the perfect travel destination. In this video we explore Ghardaïa, a city of fascinating customs and captivating beauty. We were able to spend a total of 3 days there, and we totally fell in love. Some useful information in case you also want to visit: The Ksars can only be visited with a local guide, but this is very easy to arrange by going to the official tourism offices. They can normally take you on the spot, and the tours only cost around 190-250DZD (0.90-1.20€) per person. You do NOT need to get the pricey circuits organised by the hotels and travel agencies, unless you want to of course. Bus tickets to anywhere can be bought directly at the bus station. There are multiples companies that have different timetables and slightly varying prices, so ask around.
