SC - Single Crochet - Insert hook into stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through both loops on hook. Bean Stitch - Insert hook into stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop (2 loops on hook), yarn over, insert hook into stitch and pull up another loop (4 loops on hook), yarn over, insert hook into stitch and pull up another loop (6 loops on hook), yarn over and pull through all loops on hook.
